This is a little business card holder I designed. I made 2 different sizes. The one in the video is 1/4″ thick and can hold 12 or 13 business cards. The other one I designed is 1/2″ thick and will hold about 25 business cards. The video for the smaller one is below, and measurements for both are under the video. For the small box that I made in the video, you will need a piece of cardstock that measures 6 1/2″ x 4 1/16″. You will need to score it on the 6 1/2″ side at 2″, 2 1/4″, 4 1/4″, and 4 1/2″. You will need to score it on the 4 1/16″ side at 1/4″ on both ends. The designer series paper measures 3 1/2″ x 1 7/8″.

For the larger box (that is 1/2″ thick), you will need a piece of cardstock that measures 7″ x 4 9/16″. You will need to score it on the 7″ side at 2″, 2 1/2″, 4 1/2″, and 5″. You will need to score it on the 4 9/16″ side at 1/2″ on both ends. The designer series paper measures 3 1/2″ x 1 7/8″.

I used the following punches:

• Full Heart – Hat
• 3/4″ Circle – Ball on Hat, Red Part of Mouth
• Modern Label – Hair and Brim of Hat
• 1 3/4″ Circle – Head
• 1/4″ Circle – Eyes and Nose
• Scallop Circle – Beard
• Slit – Hole for Mouth

I just cut the rectangle and squares out for his belt. I also used a sponge dauber to add some “pretty-in-pink” ink to his face to make his cheeks all rosy. I used a white gel pen to add a little sparkle to his eyes. The box is made using the matchbox big shot die.

The little ornaments are made using the scallop circle punch. You punch out 6 scallops then fold them in half. You glue them together until you have a circle shape. We used gold elastic cord to create the loop used to hang the ornament.

The Santa is on top of a matchbox made with the matchbox big shot die. I wasn’t sure about this die at first, but now that I have used it, I love it. I ordered it and plan to make all sorts of little gifts with it for my coworkers. The Santa is made using the following punches: circle punch (I think it was the 1 3/4″) – face, 3/4″ circle – ball on hat, heart punch – hat, scallop circle – beard, modern label – brim of hat and hair, slit punch – mouth, standard office hole punch – eyes and nose. We just cut the pieces for the belt.

The gift bag is made from a standard brown paper lunch sack. We covered the front and the back with chocolate chip cardstock. We used the Petals-A-plenty impressions folder on the green piece of cardstock. This impressions folder is awesome. It gives such a deep impression. This folder will be useful even after Christmas is over. My upline said that she tried this folder on a piece of pink cardstock and it looked really spring-y. The stamp set we used is called “Patterned Pines” and is a level 1 hostess reward in the current holiday mini catalog.
