Sweetheart Candy Heart Box – Paper Pumpkin Alternative Project

The idea of a candy heart box for a Valentine’s Day project has been swimming around in my brain for a while. When I got this month’s My Paper Pumpkin kit in the mail, I knew exactly what I would attempt to make with it!

Candy Heart Box from My Paper Pumpkin Kit

There are a ton of paper hearts in this kit, and they are the perfect size for a candy box. After some experimenting, I found a way to make, what I think, is a super cute version of the traditional candy heart box. Below is a video tutorial for how to make this box.

A 3 month subscription to My Paper Pumpkin is available at a discounted price of $55 through the end of Sale-a-bration. This means that you can pre-pay for a 3 month subscription and ALSO get a free Sale-a-bration item! Click here to learn more or to purchase a 3 month My Paper Pumpkin subscription.

If you subscribe now, your first kit will ship next month. That means you won’t get this valentine’s kit. However, when you subscribe, you will have the opportunity to purchase past kits, so it’s very possible you can still order the January 2016 kit if they are still available. At the time of this blog post, the January kits are still available as “past kits” to purchase.

  1. Thanks for sharing your idea! It is terrific.
Also, thanks for sharing about ‘MEH.’ I was a bit confused with that sentiment.

  2. Hi Stephanie,
I saw your candy box on the Paper Pumpkin FB site, and tracked you down. So glad I found your blog because I love this box. Thank you for sharing, and I’d love to follow your blog.

  3. I am so glad you found me! I wish we could post links on the FB page, but I understand they would have to fight a lot of spammers if they let us. I am glad you like this box and followed my blog! I will keep sharing my ideas and hope I can help inspire you!

  4. I am so glad you like it! That “MEH” sentiment seemed to confuse everyone. I think maybe Stampin’ Up was trying too hard to be “cool” on that one, lol!
